From the late 1990s New Advent served the English Dominican Summa as public HTML with question-level URLs. It is not a critical Latin text.

## Context

HTML made II-II q.11 and I-II q.94 equally searchable. Access is the gain; readers still need source criticism.

[Thomas Aquinas](/people/thomas-aquinas) is not the sole author of every later object, law, or museum label that uses the name. Shared work with courts, excavators, printers, spouses, officials, and later states does not erase a documented role, and it does not make an ancient person the signer of a twentieth-century statute.
