The same 1974 bilingual Life turns a medieval household file into a public English-Arabic book: patrons, enemies, imprisonments, and named dependants. [Avicenna](/people/avicenna) did not consent to a 1974 data release.

## Context

Ancient vitae routinely publish private arrangements. The welfare harm is the modern dump of names and movements without a surviving consent instrument, a small opacity-of-the-person path.

Avicenna is not the sole author of every later object, law, or museum label that uses the name. Shared work with courts, excavators, printers, spouses, officials, and later states does not erase a documented role, and it does not make an ancient person the signer of a twentieth-century statute.
