# Maryland enacts FY2024 budget with full Blueprint funding (2023)

On 24 April 2023, Governor [Wes Moore](/people/edu-wes-moore) approved HB 200 as Chapter 101, Maryland's fiscal year 2024 Budget Bill, effective 1 July 2023. The General Assembly's appropriations report records USD 8.7 billion in state support for public schools, full funding of fiscal 2024 Blueprint mandates, and USD 900 million for the Blueprint for Maryland's Future Fund. This record concerns enacted appropriations, not the earlier preliminary proposal.
