# General Court annuls the Apple Ireland State-aid decision

On 15 July 2020 the General Court annulled the Commission’s 2016 decision that Ireland had granted Apple illegal State aid. The Commission appealed. The annulment is a completed judicial check on her tax-ruling theory.
