# Union adopts the CAP strategic plans regulation

Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of 2 December 2021 recast the common agricultural policy around national strategic plans, eco-schemes, and conditionality. The Commission proposed the reform. Farmer income support remains the bulk of spending. Environmental groups called the final deal weaker than the proposal.
