# General Court raises the bar for blocking oligopoly telecom mergers

On 28 May 2020 the General Court annulled the 2016 CK Telecoms/O2 UK prohibition on the standard of proof, later partly set right on appeal. The judgment is a completed judicial check that made later four-to-three blocks harder.
