# Commission presents the Fit for 55 climate package

On 14 July 2021 the Commission presented the Fit for 55 package implementing the Climate Law’s 55 percent 2030 target: ETS revision, carbon border adjustment, cars, energy efficiency, and related files. [Timmermans](/people/env-frans-timmermans) led the package. The President presented it as the operational follow-up to the Climate Law.
