Date: 2021

Law 2021-646 of 25 May 2021 expands some police surveillance and originally restricted circulation of images of officers. The Constitutional Council censured the most contested imaging article; other provisions were promulgated. Rights groups had documented the bill as a press-and-assembly constraint.
