# Gandhi walks in Noakhali after communal massacres

From November 1946 Gandhi toured Noakhali (now in Bangladesh) on foot after Hindu-Muslim massacres, holding prayer meetings and seeking local pledges of peace. It is not a military protection force and not the 1948 Delhi fast.
