# Fidesz wins the 2022 election while a wartime emergency remains in force

On 3 April 2022 Fidesz won another two-thirds while a special wartime emergency, declared after the invasion, remained available. OSCE noted an uneven playing field. Winning an election is not itself a welfare crime; using emergency and media dominance is part of the documented field.
