# CJEU holds that Lex CEU breaches EU law and the WTO GATS

On 6 October 2020 the Court of Justice held in Commission v Hungary (C-66/18) that the 2017 higher-education amendment known as Lex CEU breached EU law and GATS. Teaching had already moved to Vienna. This Fact is that dated judgment. It is not the 2017 statute taken alone (live husk hu-lex-ceu-2017), not a later university-foundation act, and not a personality.
