# ICC issued an arrest warrant for LNA commander Mahmoud al-Werfalli

The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Mahmoud al-Werfalli, a commander associated with the LNA's special forces, over alleged murders in and around Benghazi. Human Rights Watch reported that eastern authorities did not subsequently publish results of the investigation they said [Haftar](/people/khalifa-haftar) had ordered.
