In 2015 the Historial Jeanne d’Arc opened in the archbishop’s palace at Rouen, including remains of the officiality where the 1431 condemnation and 1456 rehabilitation were handled.

A mythothèque can criticise nationalist uses or can sell them. The Historial’s public brief includes both the trial and the later image.

[Joan of Arc](/people/joan-of-arc) is not the sole author of every later object, law, or museum label that uses the name. Shared work with courts, excavators, printers, spouses, officials, and later states does not erase a documented role, and it does not make an ancient person the signer of a twentieth-century statute.
