# Koltay becomes rector of the National University of Public Service

From 1 September 2018 media lawyer [András Koltay](/people/andras-koltay) served as rector of the National University of Public Service for a five-year term. His application had been backed by the university's senate and board in August, and President [János Áder](/people/janos-ader) handed him his appointment in early September.
