# Court under Yun rejects Roh Moo-hyun's impeachment

On 14 May 2004 the Constitutional Court presided over by [Yun Young-chul](/people/yun-young-chul) rejected the [National Assembly](/organizations/national-assembly)'s impeachment of President [Roh Moo-hyun](/people/roh-moo-hyun), finding his election-law violations not grave enough to justify removal. Although the court found he had breached neutrality rules, the ruling ended the suspension of his powers and reinstated him at once.
