# Judiciary says Supreme Court upheld Mostafavi death sentence

HRANA, citing Iran's Judiciary Media Center, reported on 14 October 2026 that the Supreme Court had upheld the death sentence of Ali-Sina Mostafavi before his execution in Kerman. According to the judiciary's account, he was accused of shootings on 24 March and 21 April that injured several people, including a young girl, and of further attacks on police on the Kerman-Mahan road. The judiciary's narrative is the only public account of the alleged offences; trial records and the evidence relied on were not published.
