On 20 December 2024 the President published the constitutional organic-simplification decree. INAI, COFECE, IFT, CONEVAL, CRE, CNH and Mejoredu were to be folded into the executive once secondary laws sat. She had said INAI had no sense as an autonomous body.

Senate approval 28 November sat as parent. Secondary laws in March 2025 completed INAI’s practical end. She did not sit as every state congress.
