# Gavi reports immunising more than 1.2 billion children since 2000

By the end of 2024, Gavi-supported countries had immunised more than 1.2 billion unique children through routine systems since 2000. Gavi reports that supported vaccinations had averted more than 20.6 million future deaths over that period and that its work helped halve child mortality across 78 lower-income countries. These figures are Gavi's institutional reporting and are presented with that attribution.
