# PiS enacts a commission that can bar Tusk from office

Date: 2023

In 2023 Parliament created a commission on Russian influence with power to bar officials from office, widely called Lex Tusk. The president later limited it. [Tusk](/people/donald-tusk) was the named political target. The statute is a completed PiS act against him, recorded on his graph as an accountability/rights event he suffered, not as his authorship.
