## The fact

Marcantonio’s engravings after [Raphael](/people/raphael), as later museum-held, created a paper public that could see stanze inventions without a Vatican pass. Raphael collaborated; the market spread the plates.

## Context

A print public is a weak civic-capacity gain and also a propaganda multiplier. Split the multiplier onto stanze rows.
