# Government of Colombia and FARC-EP sign the revised Final Peace Agreement (2016)

On 24 November 2016 the Government of Colombia and FARC-EP signed a revised Final Agreement after the first text was rejected in a plebiscite. The agreement provided for a definitive bilateral ceasefire, the laying down of FARC-EP arms, reintegration and implementation mechanisms. It ended the armed confrontation between the state and FARC-EP, while not ending all armed violence in Colombia.
