# Security Council again called for withdrawal of foreign forces and full ceasefire implementation

In renewing UNSMIL's mandate, the Security Council again emphasized implementation of the 2020 ceasefire and the withdrawal plan for mercenaries, foreign fighters and foreign forces. The repetition showed that Libya's fragmented military order remained unresolved years after the ceasefire.
