# Seszták leaves ministry and becomes government commissioner

After Orbán's 2018 re-election [Miklós Seszták](/people/miklos-sesztak) left the National Development Ministry and from 18 May 2018 was named a government commissioner. His brief covered coordinating economic stimulus programmes in the Carpathian Basin, cross-border development projects and tourism developments, a role announced at the end of May 2018.
