# Singapore's NEA issues haze notices to seven companies

Singapore's National Environment Agency said on 16 October 2026 that it had served Preventive Measure Notices on seven firms holding land concessions in Indonesia that it linked to possible transboundary haze. The notices require the companies to send firefighters, halt burning and file plans to prevent or put out fires.
