# Potsdam Agreement is signed on occupation and reparations Date: 1945 ## The fact On 2 August 1945 the Potsdam Agreement recorded Allied occupation zones, demilitarization, reparations, and the Oder–Neisse administration of former German territory. Stalin, Truman and Attlee signed. The atomic bombing of Hiroshima the next days is a U.S. Fact. Later speeches, the cult, and measured deaths are not mixed into this Fact. ## Context This is a coalition protocol after victory, not a Soviet constitution. Ethnic expulsions from the new Polish and Czech territories are related displacement Facts with multiple authors. Shared responsibility with the Politburo, Sovnarkom, NKVD, front commands, and later the State Defence Committee is part of the record.
