# Trump convicted on 34 counts over Daniels hush-money records

On 30 May 2024 a Manhattan jury of 12 convicted [Donald Trump](/people/mig-donald-trump) on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal the reimbursement of the payment to [Stormy Daniels](/people/stormy-daniels). He became the first former U.S. president convicted of a crime. More than 20 witnesses, including Daniels, testified over six weeks.
