# U.S. sanctions Dmitry Peskov

On 3 March 2022 the US State Department designated Kremlin spokesman [Dmitry Peskov](/people/dmitry-peskov) under Executive Order 14024 as an official of the [Russian government](/organizations/russian-government), calling him the lead propagandist and spokesperson of the Russian Federation. On 11 March 2022 the Treasury's OFAC followed by designating three of his family members: his wife Tatiana Navka and his adult children Nikolay Peskov and Elizaveta Peskova.
