Across essays including material around the 1734 Lettres and later, [Voltaire](/people/voltaire) printed polygenist claims that some peoples were separately created, a racial theory later readers used.

## Context

Polygenism is a minority-rights harm path of medium-high confidence on the words, medium on later uptake. It sits beside company rents without being the same Fact.
