## The fact

On 5 January 2024 the Kosovo government announced it would recognise Serbian licence plates, after Serbia had said from 1 January that RKS plates could enter Serbia. [Josep Borrell](/people/josep-borrell) welcomed mutual recognition and the end of the sticker regime.
