## Identity and office

Maia Sandu is president of Moldova in a second term. Parliament still writes statutes. Transnistria is not her police precinct. Igor Dodon and Vlad Plahotniuc are unresolved. This run does not mint them.

## Contributions and limits of responsibility

She governed the emergencies. Gazprom and the expired transit contract originated next door. Tiraspol is not her police. Sharing a small-state energy file is not a reason to drop the row. It is a reason not to treat every later bill as a personal coefficient from 24 February 2022.
