Left Bloc
Portugal’s Left Bloc is a socialist party formed from radical-left movements, focused on labor rights, public services, anti-austerity policy and civil liberties. Its parliamentary support was pivotal to the 2015–19 governing arrangement that reversed parts of prior austerity.
