People's Party

Spain’s People’s Party is a centre-right party formed from the 1989 refoundation of Alianza Popular. It has governed nationally under José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy, shaping taxation, labor-market reform, austerity responses and the state’s handling of Catalan separatism.
