Susan J. Kressly, MD, FAAP, is an American pediatrician and the 2025 President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a professional membership organization of pediatricians. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Kressly practiced as a general pediatrician for more than three decades, including in an independent practice she founded, and has worked extensively on pediatric health information technology and on questions of care delivery, quality, and payment. In her AAP leadership role she serves as a public voice for the organization on matters affecting children's health. She has been recognized in published lists of influential figures in health.
