On 16 April 2022 Artem Sytnyk's seven-year term as director of Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau expired. Transparency International Ukraine said that during his tenure the bureau had built a solid foundation and established principles of independence, with its detectives working alongside SAPO prosecutors. Semen Kryvonos was appointed his successor in March 2023.
