What the sources establish

Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs, Uganda carries the official instrument or communique. Reuters records the same dated act independently.

Established: He appointed Muhoozi CDF on 21 March 2024; Reuters recorded the defence ministry statement on 22 March.

The defence ministry announced. Muhoozi accepted. Sharing announcement is not a reason to drop the appointment.. A later repeal, court stay, or successor order would be a different Fact with a different date. That pair identifies Museveni appoints son Muhoozi Kainerugaba Chief of Defence Forces, not a later speech about Museveni appoints son Muhoozi Kainerugaba Chief of Defence Forces.

Co-authors and later implementers named in Context remain on the file. If a later repeal, stay, or successor instrument exists, it needs its own date and its own row. The contribution described on this Person row is limited to He appointed. The defence ministry announced. Muhoozi accepted. That limit is the alternative to treating office-holding as authorship of every later series.
