Government of Ukraine

The Government of Ukraine, formally the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, is the country's highest body of executive power. Headed by the Prime Minister and composed of ministers leading individual portfolios, it implements national policy, prepares and executes the state budget, and directs the work of the central executive authorities. It operates within Ukraine's semi-presidential constitutional framework, accountable to the President and the Verkhovna Rada, the national parliament. The government's responsibilities span economic policy, defence administration, social services, and the coordination of reforms, including those tied to Ukraine's European integration commitments.
