Net harmfulFormula-derived score

The through-line is a Bhumjaithai premiership inside palace-and-court tutelage: 311 House votes after Paetongtarn’s ethics removal, a People’s Party deal that broke into a December 2025 snap, then 293 votes in March 2026. hun sen is live leaked-call weather, not this Contribution. Editorial assessment (context, not the score)

The heaviest documented costs sit on palace-tutored House arithmetic and a broken People’s Party constitution deal, not on a personality adjective.

First, September 2025. The House elected him 311 votes on 5 September after Paetongtarn’s court removal (Reuters (opens in a new tab)). The People’s Party backed him for a rewrite and an early poll, then stayed in opposition. The King endorsed him on 7 September (AP (opens in a new tab)). Hun Sen’s leaked call is neighbouring on the live Hun Sen page and on Paetongtarn’s unresolved file.

Second, the snap and return. He dissolved the House in December 2025. On 19 March 2026 the new House re-elected him 293–119 (Reuters (opens in a new tab)). Cannabis 2022 is neighbouring health-minister weather. Senate-collusion stays allegation.

Paetongtarn and Natthaphong remain unresolved. Confidence is high on House tallies and royal endorsement, and medium where a border clash sits between a nationalism campaign and a welfare series. This paragraph is an assessment of those paths, not a substitute number.

Identity and office

Anutin Charnvirakul has been prime minister of Thailand since 7 September 2025, after a 5 September House vote of 311. The House re-elected him on 19 March 2026 with 293 votes. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, removed by the Constitutional Court over a leaked call with Hun Sen, is unresolved. Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut is unresolved. Hun Sen is live. This run references him.

The premiership is House-and-palace. That limit is the first fact about his 2025–26 power. The second is that the People’s Party condition of a constitution rewrite did not survive December 2025.

The deal file is dated. On 5 September 2025 he won House election with People’s Party votes promised against a constitution rewrite and an early election. The People’s Party stayed in opposition, leaving a minority government. In December 2025 he dissolved the House when that conditionality broke and a no-confidence threat loomed (Reuters (opens in a new tab)). The 8 February 2026 snap returned Bhumjaithai as largest party on a nationalism wave neighbouring Cambodia clashes. Those clashes and Hun Sen’s call remain Paetongtarn/Hun Sen weather. This page stores the dissolution sequel and the 19 March re-election.

A Senate-election collusion investigation is neighbouring allegation, not a completed judgment. Cannabis decriminalisation in 2022 as health minister is neighbouring, not this premiership Contribution.

Documented benefits

The offsets that a commissioned-positive portrait would lead with are real only where dated. Two completed House elections (5 September 2025, 19 March 2026) are arithmetic. A royal endorsement is procedure. They are not a civic opening of the constitution on the promised timetable.

Contributions and limits of responsibility

He accepted the 5 September vote and the 7 September endorsement. He dissolved the House. He accepted the 19 March re-election. He did not write Paetongtarn’s ethics judgment. He did not write Hun Sen’s transcript.

Causal chain through facts

5 September 2025 strengthens Bhumjaithai PM as palace-tutored House capture after a court removal. 19 March 2026 continues that file after a snap. None of these hang on ukraine-war. He connects to those mechanisms only through dated facts, not as a tag on a personality.

What the score does not say

This page does not promise an exact number. Direction on the broken constitution-deal cluster is negative relative to the September bargain. House arithmetic twice is recorded. A later elected constitution would be a different fact. Paetongtarn, Natthaphong, and Hun Sen remain names on this file — Hun Sen live, the others unresolved.
