Surviving numbers are later quotations, not a civil registry he signed.
Context
Olympiad reckoning and later Christian chronographers reuse and correct such tables. Accuracy of the Trojan date is not invented here.
Eratosthenes’s documented role is bounded by other offices and collaborators named in the sources below.
Conventional years are c.276–c.194 BCE. Almost no autograph survives. Cleomedes, Strabo, Nicomachus, and later encyclopedias are the public file. Classroom globe reconstructions are not his acts. Contribution is complex.

What the sources establish
Britannica prints that Eratosthenes tried to fix dates of literary and political events since the siege of Troy; MacTutor places a Chronographiai in the Alexandrian file.
Britannica and MacTutor independently describe a chronological project under his name.
Established: later lives assign him a chronology from Troy. Not established: a complete autograph table or unique error bars on legendary dates.
Eratosthenes did not file a later UNESCO form, a later Loeb colophon, or a later museum label as a personal act. Keep later chronographers as carriers.
