In early 1429 Joan was brought to Chinon, examined, and allowed into the Valois war effort around Charles VII. It does not store inner voices as a verified supernatural Fact.

Context

English and Burgundian parties held Paris and much of the north. A fortress audience is a political instrument. Birth year remains c.1412 in public biographies; no parish register is cited here as an autograph 1412 file.

Joan of Arc is not the sole author of every later object, law, or museum label that uses the name. Shared work with courts, excavators, printers, spouses, officials, and later states does not erase a documented role, and it does not make an ancient person the signer of a twentieth-century statute.

Why it matters

Legitimacy path for the Valois restoration. High confidence on a Chinon examination; none on private revelation as physics.

A court filter is not Orléans. Keep the siege on its own row.

A rival Valois court accepting a non-noble military adviser is a dated check on English-Burgundian occupation legitimacy, not a modern election.
