Context
A siege is a hunger machine. Ending it is a welfare-relevant military act. Civilian cost of the assaults is not deleted by the date of relief; Paris 1429 is a separate worsening row.
Joan of Arc is not the sole author of every later object, law, or museum label that uses the name. Shared work with courts, excavators, printers, spouses, officials, and later states does not erase a documented role, and it does not make an ancient person the signer of a twentieth-century statute.
Why it matters
Humanitarian-access path. High confidence on the siege’s end; medium on any unique coefficient for Joan versus Dunois.
A relieved city is not a coronation. Reims is the next political instrument.
