Keep National Assembly re-elects Díaz-Canel president for a second five-year term on 2023-10-13 separate from neighbouring 19 April 2021 first-secretary succession, 11 July 2021 combat order, Ley 151 of 2022, and 13 October 2023 ANPP re-election.

The president of Cuba and first secretary of the PCC heads the state and the party. He can give a televised combat order and promulgate a penal code. He does not sit as every municipal policeman, as ETECSA’s NOC, or as an OFAC licensing officer. Raúl Castro is named as an unresolved person candidate.
