On 26 May 2025 TNI’s information chief said about 4,472 active-duty soldiers were serving in civilian posts across Prabowo’s administration, with the Defence Ministry the largest host. The March TNI-law revision had widened the list of civilian institutions. Active officers already sat as Cabinet Secretary and at Bulog.
