Between 1940 and 1942 Le Corbusier spent periods in Vichy seeking official urban-planning work from Pétain’s state, a job-hunt documented in correspondence and in later Fondation and BBC treatments. He did not become minister of reconstruction. Corruption here is institutional: offering expertise to a collaborationist administration. The Fondation’s controversies page deplores polemical use while not erasing the letters. Context

Algiers plans in these years are a neighbouring colonial-urban row. Private sentences about Jews and money, reported in BBC coverage of 2015 books, are allegation-plus-letter, stored as rights on another row if used, not cloned here. He also worked after 1944 for the Liberation state; that does not rebate 1941.
