On 21 November 2021 Venezuela held regional and local elections. Parts of the opposition participated after a long boycott. An EU Election Observation Mission deployed — a partial contest relative to 2018 and 2020. The EU later described an uneven field.

Context

Mexico 2021 talks sat as parent weather. Neighbouring 2024 presidential night is a later child. He did not sit as the EU mission.

2020 parliamentary boycott is the parent contrast. Barbados 2023 is a later electoral-guarantees child.

The President of Venezuela heads the national executive, commands FANB as commander-in-chief, appoints the cabinet, and can request enabling laws.
