First, the 2024 poll. On 29 June he won a second term. CENI printed more than 56 percent and 55.33 percent turnout. Abeid was printed at 22.14 percent and refused to recognise the commission. BBC recorded about 56 percent. This page does not invent a unique result integer. Abeid is unresolved.

Second, the 2026 court file. On 4 May the Nouakchott-Ouest chamber sentenced Ghamou Achour and Marieme Cheikh Dieng to four years. They are IRA figures around Abeid. AP and RFI recorded the terms. GSI 2023 printed about 149,000 people in modern slavery as neighbourhood. That figure is not a size.

The 2024 poll file is dated. On 29 June 2024 Mauritania voted. CENI on 30 June printed more than 56 percent for him from 4,468 of 4,503 stations and 55.33 percent turnout (Reuters (opens in a new tab); BBC (opens in a new tab)). Abeid was printed at 22.14 percent. He said he would not recognise the so-called independent commission and called an electoral coup. BBC recorded about 56 percent and about 55 percent turnout. Those instruments disagree. This page does not invent a unique result integer. Abeid is unresolved.

The court file is dated. On 4 May 2026 the Nouakchott-Ouest criminal chamber sentenced deputies Ghamou Achour and Marieme Cheikh Dieng to four years after social-media posts that criticised him and accused the justice system of treating Black citizens as second-class (AP (opens in a new tab); RFI (opens in a new tab)). They had been detained on 21 April. RFI recorded ordered account closures. They are IRA figures around Abeid. They are not minted.
