What the sources establish
Reuters carries the official instrument or communique. BBC News records the same dated act independently.
Established: The 29 June 2024 poll returned him as printed by CENI on 30 June. Abeid refused the commission.
Not established: A unique result integer reconciling more than 56 percent with BBC’s about 56 percent, or that Abeid is minted.
Sharing CENI decimals is not a reason to drop 29 June 2024.. A later repeal, court stay, or successor order would be a different Fact with a different date. That pair identifies Ghazouani wins a second presidential term as the runner-up rejects CENI, not a later speech about Ghazouani wins a second presidential term as the runner-up rejects CENI.
Co-authors and later implementers named in Context remain on the file. If a later repeal, stay, or successor instrument exists, it needs its own date and its own row. The contribution described on this Person row is limited to He contested the poll as incumbent. That limit is the alternative to treating office-holding as authorship of every later series.
