What the sources establish
Reuters carries the official instrument or communique. BBC News records the same dated act independently.
Established: The Constitutional Council confirmed him president-elect on 16 May 2024. ANGE had declared 61 percent on 9 May. Masra’s challenge was dismissed.
Not established: A unique turnout integer that proves or disproves Masra’s Facebook claim, or that Masra is a minted Person row.
Sharing ANGE and Council authorship is not a reason to drop 16 May 2024.. A later repeal, court stay, or successor order would be a different Fact with a different date. That pair identifies Constitutional Council confirms Mahamat Déby winner of the 6 May presidential poll, not a later speech about Constitutional Council confirms Mahamat Déby winner of the 6 May presidential poll.
Co-authors and later implementers named in Context remain on the file. If a later repeal, stay, or successor instrument exists, it needs its own date and its own row. The contribution described on this Person row is limited to He was the MPS candidate and sitting transitional president. That limit is the alternative to treating office-holding as authorship of every later series.
