What the sources establish

Government of Guatemala carries the official instrument or communique. Reuters records the same dated act independently.

Established: He took the oath on 15 January 2024 after a delayed 14 January ceremony; CC orders had blocked a last stop-the-inauguration attempt.

Not established: A unique later CICIG rebirth from the oath hour, or a Semilla congressional majority he did not have.

TSE had credentialed. Giammattei left. Porras’s office had challenged.. A later repeal, court stay, or successor order would be a different Fact with a different date. That pair identifies Arévalo takes the oath after a delayed 14 January ceremony, not a later speech about Arévalo takes the oath after a delayed 14 January ceremony.

Co-authors and later implementers named in Context remain on the file. If a later repeal, stay, or successor instrument exists, it needs its own date and its own row. The contribution described on this Person row is limited to Congress finally received the oath. TSE had credentialed. Giammattei left. Porras’s office had challenged. That limit is the alternative to treating office-holding as authorship of every later series.
