Identity and office
Irakli Kobakhidze is prime minister of Georgia since 8 February 2024. Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Georgian Dream founder, is the informal-rule neighbourhood.
This page reuses ukraine-war for Russia-tilt while the war runs. It does not mint a second war. It does not dump 2024 protests onto Soviet media-freedom as a primary home.
In April–May 2024 the government reintroduced a foreign-influence law modelled on a 2023 draft that protests had already blocked. Parliament passed it. Police used force against demonstrators. Reuters and AP recorded the nights. The law is a completed statute. Use-of-force is a completed crackdown. He is PM. He is not every riot policeman.
Public statements refusing to join Western sanctions on Russia, and a cooling of the Ukraine-solidarity line, attach to ukraine-war. They are not a unique co-belligerency. Troop despatch is not invented.
Documented benefits
EU-candidate rhetoric is a neighbouring file, not a rebate of the 2024 law.
Contributions and limits
He tabled and defended the law. Police executed. Ivanishvili is unresolved. Sharing a party with a billionaire founder is not a reason to drop the PM’s row.
Causal chain
The 2024 law and Russia-tilt while Ukraine’s war ran sit on ukraine-war where causal, as living-executive conduct.
What the score does not say
No exact number. Direction is negative. A later genuine repeal would be a different date. Ivanishvili remains a name, not a minted biography.
