Context

Future Gas Strategy sat as parent. Neighbouring 2035 target is a later climate announcement. He did not sit as the WA minister, and he did not write a High Court judgment.

Future Gas 9 May 2024 is the parent strategy. 2035 target 18 September 2025 is a child climate file six days later.

The Prime Minister of Australia chairs Cabinet and advises the Governor-General. Parliament enacts; the Governor-General assents. He does not write a High Court judgment, a state housing approval, or a US AUKUS submarine yard print.

Minister for the Environment and Water carries the official instrument or communique. Reuters records the same dated act independently.

Established: 12 September 2025 final approval after a 28 May proposed decision, independently reported.

He led Cabinet. Woodside applied. WA had already approved. Safeguard Mechanism sits as a neighbour emissions cap, not this approval.. A later repeal, court stay, or successor order would be a different Fact with a different date. Co-authors and later implementers named in Context remain on the file. If a later repeal, stay, or successor instrument exists, it needs its own date and its own row. The contribution described on this Person row is limited to Watt decided under EPBC. He led Cabinet. Woodside applied. WA had already approved.
